The material touching or enclosing a collectible note matters. Serial Shield 3D™ currency frames are built around clear note-facing windows made from Genuine Archival Quality Optically Clear Polyester PET/Mylar®, with archival-safe double-sided tape used where the display assembly requires it.

The rigid PLA outer frame provides structure, strength, and display support, but it is not represented as archival-safe. Archival-quality claims apply only to the specifically identified PET/Mylar® windows and archival-safe tape.

For collectible currency, avoid long-term storage or display in unknown plastics, PVC/vinyl sleeves, glued-shut frames, tight magnetic holders, or any holder that places uneven pressure directly on the note.

Poor materials, unsafe adhesives, tight closures, or pressure points can discolor, stick to, imprint, bend, or physically damage paper collectibles over time.

Built for Clear, Reusable Display

Serial Shield 3D™ frames are designed to give collectors a rigid, reusable display option without permanently sealing the note inside the frame. The clear PET/Mylar® windows allow double-sided viewing, while the outer frame and stand provide structure for display.

Always confirm your note dimensions before ordering. Large-size U.S. notes, foreign currency, oversized notes, thick sleeves, or already-holdered notes may require a different size or custom solution.
