CUSTOM 3D PRINTING SERVICES
All custom-printing projects require a customer-supplied, print-ready file. Serial Shield 3D™ does not currently provide 3D modeling, file design, or sketch-to-STL conversion services.
PRINT-READY FILES
Send your completed STL or other compatible print-ready file with the desired quantity, intended use, dimensions, material preference, and color preference. Every file is reviewed for printability before a quote is provided.
ONE-OFF CUSTOM PRINTS
Need a single part printed from your finished file? We accept one-off projects when the model is compatible with our equipment, materials, and production capabilities.
SHORT PRODUCTION RUNS
Need multiple copies of the same part? Serial Shield 3D™ can produce short runs using consistent print settings and careful inspection of the completed parts.
Submitting a file does not guarantee acceptance. Printability, dimensions, material requirements, production time, and quantity will be reviewed before the project is quoted.
HOW CUSTOM 3D PRINTING WORKS
1. SEND YOUR FILE
Email your completed, print-ready file to sales@serialshield3d.com. Include the desired quantity, finished dimensions, intended use, and material and color preferences.
2. FILE REVIEW
The file will be reviewed for printability, size, material compatibility, support requirements, and production time. If the supplied file requires changes, you will need to provide a corrected version.
3. RECEIVE YOUR QUOTE
If the project can be produced with our available equipment and materials, you will receive a quote based on the file, quantity, material, printing time, and shipping requirements.
4. PRINTING AND DELIVERY
After the quote is accepted and payment arrangements are completed, the parts will be printed, inspected, packaged, and shipped. Tracking information will be provided when available.
File review does not include designing, repairing, modifying, or converting the customer’s model.
